I need to add a comment to the blog post before

Ok, yes, I worked the Mick Cronin show instead of going to meet George Clooney on the Red Carpet in Maysville.  I really didn't want to face the crazy crowds there.  But let me just add, I HAVE met George...yes, lets call him George, a few times.  I was lucky enough to work with Nick Clooney for two years when he was on the old WSAI.  I last ran in to Nick, wife Nina, and sister Gail, last November at an event at NKU.  It's been a couple of years since I've been lucky enough to "run" in to George.  I will add a picture of myself and my buddy George to my site here.  I would do it here in the blog, but I don't know how to yet....remember I'm new to this like you.  But I DO know how to download in the photo gallery, so look for it there soon.  So that's enough of name dropping today.  ;-)

I'm blogging again. It makes me proud.

OK.  I have a goal of writing at least one blog a day.  I hope that means I'll have something to say...every day...that's a lot of pressure....And I may take off on weekends.  But I'm going to try to be a good friend to you and keep you informed on what we are doing in these hallowed halls of Kenwood we sometimes lovingly call The Death Star.

I just got out of a meeting with Mo.  We are trying to come up with a clever name to refer to me somehow using my given name of Sherry, but a name that will sound clever when he refers to me on the air and that you can relate to.  Since I am the Promotions Princess, my contests and events often come up on the air.  Not that the contests and events are always my idea, but once the ideas are thrown out, it is up to me to make them happen.  So if you have any ideas as to a fun way to refer to me:  Sherry_________ or _________Sherry, I am open to ideas.  I don't think I'll give you the names Mo threw out to me.  Lets just say he hasn't come up with something I like or can print here.  Mo is one of the funniest people I know, just not when it comes to nicknames apparently.  I think I'll give him more time.  Where's Gary Burbank when I need him!?!  I think I may need to call him.

Yesterday I promised a contest to give away movie passes to see the movie 88MINUTES starring Al Pacino.  You have to go to 700wlw.com and check out the contest page to win some.  The special screening is Wednesday, April 16th.  I plan on being there.  I've been waiting for this movie to come out.  It looks awesome.  I'll even blog my review here.

I do love a good movie.  I'm thinking about seeing LEATHERHEADS this weekend because I missed the screening in Maysville.  (I was working the final MicK Cronin Coach Show that night.....now that 'm thinking about it, I just realized I stood up George Clooney for Mick Cronin....how stupid was that!?!)  Well, George will actually get money out of my pocket as I now have to purchase a ticket.  I love football and I love George, so I have high hopes for this movie.  I'll let you know how it is.

My day is complete.  The Reds won today.  YEA!

On 700WLW, we will be giving away movie passes to see Al Pacino in 88 MINUTES at Newport on the Levee in April 16 at 7:30pm.  Visit 700wlw.com starting tomorrow afternoon to register to win.  You've heard it here first.  Good Luck.

On 1530Homer and 700WLW, we have just witnessed another Opening day.  Check out our websites for pictures.  We missed you if you weren't there.
