Our fantasic Interns and I spent Saturday Morning at Summerfair 2008 at Coney Island with the Mayor of Summerfiar himself, Jim Scott! We had great fun and Jim had the opportunity to meet many of his Listeners. if you get a chance to go to Summerfair this weekend, it will be a fantastic day. it just cost $10, with children getting in free. There are lots of great things to see, art to buy and food to eat! Yes, they even have funnel cakes!
Proceeds from the gate go to funding Art Programs all year long. My Interns weren't sure where I was taking them, but once there, I can assure you good times were had by all! I am already making plans for Summerfair 2009!
