About Me: I've been lurking on this blog since Marc used it just for spring training. I feel like I know a lot of you guys. Maybe someday I'll have something to say. I signed up just in case that happens. I couldn't decide on a nickname. It was a toss-up between Silent Bob and Guild-stern. I didn't figure too many people would "get" the latter.
Music: Morris Day and the Time :) ..., A Dying Cubs Fan's Last Request..., The Pink Floyd, Areosmith, The Allman Brothers, Cowboy Junkies, Indigo Girls, Townes Van Zandt, Steve Earl, Guy Clark, Bowling For Soup, Drive-By Truckers, Koko Taylor, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Bob Marley, Stan Rogers, Van Morrison, Gordon Lightfoot, southern rock, the blues, and Jimmy Buffett drunk Carribean rock and roll music.
Movies: Dogma, Chasing Amy, Kelly's Heroes (woof, woof, that's my other dog imitation), American Beauty, Resevoir Dogs, The Blues Brothers (...a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses. Hit it!), Crossroads, The Man Who Would be King.

Likes: Beer.....Dark Beer..... No fruit!
Dislikes: Fruit in Beer. Vegetables. Cubs Fans. But not in that order.
Hobbies: Cycling, kayaking, fishing, music, and history.
Virtues: I can place one quarter flat on a bar and balance another on top of it.
I understand that eager and anxious are not synonyms and use them accordingly.
