This even caught me off guard.  Not because of what Chad actually said but more because it happened about 2 months before I thought it would.  Now I am not going to get all "Chad is back" and that nonsense.  What he said was foolish and made him look real stupid and this might be agent fueled but like I have said before, I'm a Chad guy, always have been and always will be.  A few months of him acting like a 7th grader isnt going to change that.  Enjoy one of the better articles you will find on bengals.com

First, Tiger Woods is not human......if he were he would have shot about 9 over with a ruptured ACL and a double stress fracture of his fibia. If you were any other golfer on the tour how would you feel today knowing that you were just beaten by a one leg gimp who hadnt practiced for 2 months.....I know I would never play competative golf again.

Second, Isnt there some rule that ESPN and ESPN2 cant show the same thing at the same time. Euro2008 is garbage and I am tired of them shoving soccer down our throats. I dont care about some long hair hippy from Spain named De La Red and the 0 goals he will score. Why are we giving this so much coverage, we dont even have a team in it being that America isnt in Europe and all. Rece Davis is anchoring the "highlight" show and Pedro Gomez is on site somewhere in the Swiss. I guess b/c Barry Bonds isnt playing baseball right now Pedro is allowed to cover another sport. Put replays of the U.S. open on, replay last night's finals game, anything but this nonsense.

UNREAL........He just won't lose......Has there ever been another athlete in any sport who when it really matters has NEVER missed his/her "shot".  Everytime it matters he comes through.  Congrats Rocco and congrats Tiger on major number 14

Since my last blog post. A lot has happened in the sports world and in Big D Simone's world. The 2008 Sr. PGA Championship was a success. Jay Haas is a wonderful champion. I want to thank all my family and friends for coming up and visiting, I had a blast. I made my golf channel and ESPN debut with a rather excited round of clapping. I am preparing for the first PHI KAPPA PSI ALUMNI GOLF MATCHES in Florida at the end of the month, there will be more on this in a few weeks. I will be moving to Florida and working on the Grand Slam of Golf in Bermuda. Couldnt be more excited. Only down fall, gotta wear a tie to work, no big deal you say, I'm a guy who hates socks so you think I'm gonna like wearing tie's. Apparently I have fans all over this great nation who are clamouring for more frequent blog posts, your wish is my command. I slacked off a great deal over the past month and that is over, hope your ready.

TIGER WOODS AND CHAD JOHNSON ARE PRETTY MUCH THE SAME GUY

Did I get your attention, good, cause that is one of the most retarded statements I have ever made and is totally untrue. Lets start with Tiger.

I had the chance to go see a band (Cross Canadian Ragweed) who I really like, for free last night and instead I sat on my butt and watched Tiger. Good choice by me. It was unreal, I know he's hurt but NBC and Johnny Miller are going a little too far with it. Just talk about the golf he is playing minus the injury. The eagle putt on the 13 was the most absurd thing I have ever seen minus Justin Leonard in the Ryder Cup. 70 feet, downhill, with 5 foot of break. I'm a pretty good stick, wanna know what happens if I try that putt? I leave it 15-20 ft. short because I'm afraid to putt it off the green. I then put it about 9 feet past the hole and almost off the green because that putt was straight downhill and I didnt read the break right. I then miss the 10 foot uphiller and tap in for probably a 9 thanks to my 4 putt. You want to know what I like as much as Tiger winning.......NOTHING

Now on to Chad, also one of my favorite athletes. I will admit, back before the draft I wrote a post that the Bengals should trade him, which at that point would have been a good move. Once that last pick was made I knew there was no chance he was leaving. Lets fast forward to this week. Mandatory Mini Camp, will he show? what will he do? My answer, its June, who really cares? Well aparently about 9 guys from ESPN, a couple from the NFL Network, and one from Yahoo Sports did care, or at least gave a crap on Thursday morning. Chad's got a bum ankle....or wait.....its a bad back, whatever it is he didnt really do much of anything on Thursday, SHOCKING I KNOW. Then he did a little bit more on Friday and there were even rumors that he smiled a few times and actually talked to a few teammates and coachs. I didnt believe it at first and if you listen to some of the talking blobs in Cincy you would have thought it was an out an out lie, but I did a little reasearch and in fact it was true. Then yesterday the man called an "Assclown" and a "Cancer" with his bad ankleback particapted fully in practice. I said "No way, thats not possible, he's too big of an assbag to practice the whole time" but again I was mistaken as ESPN documented the action with moving pictures that Ocho Sucko did actually practice. Its all pretty laughable to me, the whole song and dance he does and the way one football player can get fans and t.v guys and radio guys so worked up that they are screaming about him and how bad of a person he is and how they hate him and how he will tear a team apart and how bad they feel for Carson that he has to put up with him. Carson's a big boy, I think he can handle it. Marvin's a grown man, pretty sure he has handled worse things before. The real funny part is that there are guys who are paid to talk and write about the Bengals who didnt think it would happen just like this, yet I am some internet hack in my grandparents guest bed room 500 miles away who called it about 3 months ago. Chad likes football and money, not sure in what order, but I do know one thing, without football there is no money. I will save you all the pain of listening to the hot air coming out of Cincinnati (minus Mo, he's good) over the next 3 months and tell you EXACTLY how this is going to play out.

Sometime between June 19th and June 25th Chad will have surgery on his ankle. This will cause him to miss the first week or two of training camp. He will make a few comments about whatever the hell he makes comments about which in turn will cause "certain radio people" to totally flip out. His agent will then say something to the effect of "Chad will continue to fulfill his end of the contract as I work with the Bengals to reslove the situation" Even though there is no situtuation besides the fact that Drew wants more money and he cant get it unless Chad gets a new deal, which aint happenin. Chad will play a series in the first preseason game, a quarter in the 2nd, at least a half in the 3rd, and next to nothing in the last. Then he will catch 2 touchdowns against the Ratbirds in week one and those same windbags that thought he would rip the lockerroom apart will stroak him just like they did before all this crap started. And you wonder why he doesnt talk to local media. I know I wouldnt either.
