Dunn has high praise for Dusty

According to the Colorado Rockies announcers tonight, Adam Dunn could not say enough good things about Dusty Baker. Dunn is having a pretty good night tonight in his first game as a Diamondback. Wearing the # 32, Hitting Clean-up and Playing in RF Dunn chased a bad ball on a 3-2 pitch in the dirt and struckout in the 1st. Dunn laid off the 3-2 pitch in the dirt and walked in the 3rd. Dunn broke his bat in the 5th but managed to bloop a double down the line. In the 6th Dunn walked again to lead-off the inning. You can see Dunn is playing with a little more intensity tonight. He was barely forced out at 3rd on a grounder behind the bag which the Rockies 3rd baseman beat a sliding Dunn to the bag. Dunn sliding???!! I didn't know Dunn had a game face, but he certainly has it tonight. Maybe playing for a first place team in August will do this for a player looking for a new contract. Struck out in the 8th on a 3-2 pitch from Jason Grilli with 2 men on base. Not saying this is Paul O'Neill going to the Yankees but a change of scenery could help Dunn become a better player. Wow Dunn still playing RF in the 8th with a 4-2 lead... Reds managers would have taken Dunn out for defense by now... Dunn catches the final out in the 8th. Two hands on the catch... Dunn taken out in the 9th for defensive purposes D-Backs leading 4-2.... Arizona wins 4-2 and remains in first place in the NL West.
