How cool to see the rookie come up with the game winner on his first hit in the bigs!  Reds rollercoaster ride continues. Brilliant start for Arroyo marred by Reds first blown save of the season and then the bullpen's bailed out with some timely hitting.  The rain out comes at a good time.  Get to see Bellisle skipped in the rotation.  Maybe things are starting to go their way!!!

2 games in a row against the overachieving Marlins is cause for celebration.  Volquez is as solid as they come.  1 or less earned runs in each of his 1st 8 starts!!?? Wow!  Can anyone else think of a trecent trade which has worked out so well for both teams involved?  But I won't get too excited just yet.  I still see major changes in the next 2 weeks, especially with Keppinger on the DL. 

Maybe the offense is coming to life...maybe the pitching is not as good as we hoped.  Too many baserunning mistakes, way too many.  Still too many runners LOB.  Defense a liablity.  Patterson and Belisle are liablities.  Surprises of the year have to be Bako and Keppinger. Can we trade Alex Gonzalez once he's off the DL?  Otherwise where does he fit in? At this point M.V.P. has to be Volquez. In the foreseeable future? Thanks for the memories Jr.  Hope you'll be happy in Seatlle.  Welcome, Jay Bruce...D'oh!! Where's Homer????  Done with Dunn?  Time will tell
