    Same old Reds

Tonight was a repeat of the Reds biggest problem this season.  As good as this offense may appear on paper they simply do not produce.  I've lost all faith in Dusty Baker as a manager.  Why WHY WHY does he continue to hit Patterson at the top of the lineup??!!?!?!!!???? His ba is down to .193 for God sakes even if he lucks into a hit he'd either picked off 1st base or caught stealing.  He was thrown out on a steal attempt tonight, his 5th caught stealing so far not to mention the picks.  I know were stuck with this loser due to injuries and Dusty's infatuation with him for whatever reason.  But put him at no. 8 in the order (or 9) If Dusty had any brains this would be his batting orfer

Brandon Phillips: I don't care if he has 13 home runs, the guy has the best batting average on the team (not including those brought up in the last month, obviously) and probably the best speed

Jay Bruce: His first week in the bigs was at the no. 2 slot where he was 15 for 25 with 4 home runs...then Dusty decided to move him toi the 3 spot when Griffey was out...then moved him to leadoff then back to 3 but he has since not hit in the 2 spot since...he is now in an 0-15 slump...it may not matter but why not put him batting back where he was comfortable at least to see if it helps

Ken Griffey Jr.: Has been his slot for years...leave him there

Adam Dunn: Our best power threat, despite low ba  he always has high obp along with rbis

Joey Votto: His average and power should not have him batting below this spot

Edwin Encarnacion: Power threat but too inconsistent to be any higher

Paul Bako/Javier Valentin/David Ross: None have the nos. to be better than 7th

Paul Janish: Stick with the youth movement here until Kepp returns
