I'm thinking that Ryan is trying to say that it stinks that we have had so many high draft pick not pan out due to injuries and off the field issues. ie. Thurman,Henry Pollack, and now Irons.

A wasted pick simply because he got hurt. There is no way that anyone could have known it but look at the number of picks during the Lewis Era that are NO LONGER with this team...and Marvin says build through the draft

You do need to build through the draft but Irons and Pollack's injuries were flukes. Hardly Marvin's fault.

Irons will likely still be a Bengal - he just won't be in pads this season. That sucks - but that's football.
