Seriously, this has to be one of the worst games ever released- Electronic Arts (EA Sports) should be embarrased to release this game. WIth as good as the PS3 and 360 versions of this game are- It's rediculas that EA thought they could release such a piece of garbage on the Wii.
NCAA FOOTBALL 09 ALL PLAY- might as well be NCAA FB DON'T PLAY!
The graphics are horrid. The Stadiums remind me of the stadiums in the gamecube versions of this game. The textures on both the players and the field are awfull. While it could be fun to play as the different Macots, the graphics are so DULL...and blah.
I've played 4 games now- One as the Bearcats, One as Ohio State and 2 as Notre Dame. I played through all of the games wondering if I was just being to harsh on the game play...Idon't believe that I am.
Using the Wiimote in order to pass could be fun if I wasn't playing by myself. I'm not interested in any aspect of the single player mode on the wii at all. I might hold on to this title, to play it with 'friends and family' but I'm not sure if it's even worth keeping in the collection...... Please, if you have a wii, RENT THIS GAME- BEFORE you BUY IT!

Recently, I've been struggling to figure out what I'm supposed to be doing with my lilfe. I have had about 20 job interviews, I left school and moved back home to be closer to my son, and now I feel like I have NO CLUE what to do or where to turn.
Flipping through the TV channels today I heard- "I guess my life just doesn't make sense without you."and something in my mind clicked... That is exactly what my problem is but there isn't anything that I can do about it anymore.
Michael Jackson- Man in the Mirror
I'm going to keep fighting--- despite the fact that I feel like it's killing me. I can't be the one that gives up on this life- as much as I want to but the songs just keep kicking me right in the face.
There is something about being a musician that hurts when something goes wrong in your life. Every song that you hear reminds you of every thing or something or someone...
So, I haven't been posting on thelotd.com which there are mulitple reasons for but mostly it's because I have been battling what could be a blood clot in my brain, and a mass that formed on my right elbow that eventually came through the skin and caused my entire arm to swell up and look like I had a wicked Indian burn.
Even with these issues, 3 doctor's visits in less than 2 weeks, and one brief hospital stay, I've continued to watch some baseball...I played softball last week...I've been on daddy duty...and I've still got in my fair share of gaming. So I thought that I would post a little bit of what I've been playing as of late.
XBOX-
My 360 hasn't been turned on since the fourth of July (at least by me). I believe that the little one decided that he wanted to play the arcade title BOOGIE BUNNIES, which you should all take time to at least play the demo of. It's a fairly addictive puzzle game that is cute and has a fun puzzle concept. It's very much like BUBBLE BOP with Dancing Bunnies. NCAA Football 09 comes out on MONDAY NIGHT err midnight Tuesday and I will be waiting in line for both copies of that game (wii n 360) that night.
Wii-
OKAY I know i posted some info about Mario Kart a while ago...but it's still a great game and captures most of my time on the Wii. If you haven't played Mario Strikers Charged (Soccer) you have to play this game...it is soooooooooo fun! But in 2 weeks the new MLB Powerpros comes out so I'm aniticipating renting that one and checking it out. (I know Lance is considering picking it up for Casey too)
PS3-
The majority of my gaming time has been taken up on the PS3 lately. I picked up All-Pro Football 2k8 for $10 used...and I am currently playing HOT SHOTS GOLF out of bounds - and after lunch today (Larosas), I'm going to get at least 2 rounds of golf in this afternoon and then I'll put up a little REVIEW of that game. *
It's official, I'm ADDICTED to Mario Kart Wii: Yeah- the Wii is a kids system but as of late I have found a couple of games that are LOADS OF FUN!!!
