I am currently listening to Lance's show, and talking about the Bengals got me thinking. What have the Bengals done for us? The organization uses and abuses us, the fans. As long as we keep pumping money into the organization, why should Mike Brown and the rest of the administration care how we feel?
While the Reds have had a 13-year playoff drought, it seems we give them a little more slack. Is it because they actually seem to care about their fans? While both teams have been struggling for over a decade, Cincinnatians still love their Reds. I'm not saying the Reds get a free pass; it just seems fans are easier on the organization.
Redsfest is a great off-season activity for fans. It gives us hope in the bleak winter months that baseball and sunshine are around the corner. Dollar hot dogs are a way to give back. Jersey retirement ceremonies are another great way. The Reds actually run their organization with the fans in mind.
The Bengals, however, do not give anything to their fans. Why do we put up with it? I love the orange and black, but it's just frustrating that a team seems to not give a crap about the fans who spend their hard-earned money.

Does it make anyone else angry listening to Marvin's press conferences? It just seems like he doesn't care. Show some damn emotion! Is it because Mike Brown told Marvin his job is safe, and he has a job as long as he wants?
