Regarding Withrow's Yancy Gates and the all-star basketball circuit:

Gates is scheduled to play in the adidas Derby Festival Basketball Classic on Saturday, April 19 (7 p.m.) at Freedom Hall in Louisville.

That is Gates' one all-star commitment, for now. The UC-bound Gates on Wednesday was named to the Parade All-America fourth team. His other honors include Ohio AP Division I state player of the year.
